I actually didn't get to July until August, and when I did, I was still thinking in terms of what the month was about in a general sense, rather than what it was or had been for me. I did have a new technique I wanted to try out, netting over cut pieces of material, with stitching holding the material in place. I laid out my bits and pieces, covered them with black netting, and basted it all in place. I then beaded over all with the fireworks, bound the edges and then ran some of the sparkles over the edges. An obvious, but pleasing image for July.
